Ball and socket armature joint test...

This is the Ball and socket Armature that I made last year, it is created from Brass plate and Aluminium rod, cut to size and jointed together, the aim of this project was to make sure I used recycled materials (which I did) and to keep the costs of creating this type of armature as low as possible! This video is a test of the joints it is now fully completed and looking good, I was going to skin this armature, but I think it looks beautiful as it is ..

Ball and socket armature

This is ball and socket armature was created by myself and took around 3 months to create by hand using scrap metal, brass plate and aluminium rod. A university project/ experiment that turned out very well! The armature can be fully animated and will soon be skinned ready for a short animation one has in the works :D here is the final armature photo;
